What is read

Account (IBAN or other ID), currency, opening (OPBD) and closing (CLBD) balance, checked against the entries.
Each entry’s amount, credit/debit indicator, reversal indicator, booking and value date, bank reference and transaction code.
Counterparty name (debtor for incoming, creditor for outgoing payments) and remittance information.
Batch entries with several transactions are split into separate lines when their amounts add up to the entry. Pending entries are left out and reported.

Steps

Open the .xml file(s) in Ledgermere.
Check the transactions and the balance check.
Export to Excel, CSV, or OFX / QBO / QIF.

Which versions work?

camt.052, camt.053 and camt.054 from version .001.02 up to the current versions – the element names Ledgermere uses have not changed between them.

Can it read ZIP files with many camt files?

Unzip them first, then select all XML files at once.
